Restorative Yoga is the "dessert of yoga."

Katherine is truly a special person and one of my favorite yoga teachers. She personifies compassion and loving kindness.
The postures I teach in Restorative Yoga are all floor based and completely supported. The idea behind Restorative Yoga is to allow the body to get out of the "fight and flight" mode and into the wonderfully relaxing "rest and digest" mode. I lead the class through guided mediations that create opportunities for you to tap into your inner resources such as courage, compassion, love and forgiveness. I finish the class by placing warm massage stones in your hands for a nice grounded feeling.
When the heart opens, everything changes.
