We currently have two retreats planned for summer 2020. See the dates and topics below. My friend and yoga teacher, Amber Hartley, and I will lead these retreats. These retreats will book quickly so if you are interested, please contact me.
Thursday - Sunday
July 23-26, 2020
Living The Four Agreements
Additional Area Activities
The retreat facility is located near Central Idaho's Dark Sky Reserve. This is the first International Dark Sky Reserve in the United States and the 12th created in the world. While not located within the Reserve itself, the facility is located a few miles from the border on top of a ridge where most ambient light is blocked and the views of the night sky are truly amazing.
Engage in experiential activities, self-reflection and group discussion with a variety of resources including, videos, poems, and music in exploration of The Four Agreements as presented by author Don Miquel Ruiz, and learn how to embrace Toltec wisdom to create a vibrant life of personal freedom.
Thursday - Sunday
June 25-28, 2020
Retreats kickoff Thursday evenings and run through Sunday mid-day. These retreat weekends are $400.00 and include all meals, accommodations, optional yoga and meditation practices, hot spring pool access, creative projects, themed activities and time to relax and enjoy yourself in the mountain environment. Most all diet preferences and restrictions can be accommodated. Each retreat is designed around a theme that we delve into and explore. Email me for more information at Sharonhammeryoga@gmail.com.

This retreat will focus on exploring not only the physical practice of a variety of yoga styles but also the inner tradition of yoga. We will explore the work of Richard Freeman, Rick Hanson and Michael Stone delving into the psychology underlying yoga including Patanjali's Eight Limbed Path.
In Patanjali's Yoga Sutra, the eight limbed path is called ashtanga, which literally means "eight limbs" (ashta=eight, anga=limb). These eight steps basically act as guidelines on how to live a meaningful and purposeful life. They serve as a prescription for moral and ethical conduct and self-discipline; they direct attention toward one's health; and they help us to acknowledge the spiritual aspects of our nature.
If you are interested in delving deeper into your yoga practice, this retreat is definitely for you.
